South Africa’s Immigration Laws

South Africa’s Immigration Laws

Tour operators have said that new immigration regulations are not a real reason not to travel to South Africa. According to new regulations all travelers under age 18 must carry an “unabridged” birth certificate.

Other tour operators have highlighted that new regulations are not that difficult to comply with. According to them the so called ‘unabridged’ is just the standard U.S. birth certificate.

For realtives (like grandparents or one parent traveling with kids) all you need is just a letter of permissions from both parents and  an ‘unabridged’, thats all you need when going to south africa with kids. Travel agencies recommend apostille instead a seal  from a local notary public.

Feel free to read the following “SOUTH AFRICAN REQUIREMENTS FOR MINORS TAVELLING INTERNATIONALLY” and find more information about procedures or regulations to republic of south africa.
