Tajikistan joins The Hague Convention

The government of the Republic of Tajikistan has completed all the process to join The Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents.

 The authorities responsible for performing the apostille in the country are:

• The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan

As part of the addition to The Hague Convention the government of Tajikistan will also implement the “Project of a Single Electronic Registry System” of the Apostille that will be known as «e-Apostille». With this tool the citizens can verify the authenticity of the origin of the documents through this web page, it will make easier and faster the verification process.

Electronic Registry System allows the authentication of documents anywhere in the world electronically. Tajikistan is one of the first countries that releases the newest system knowing that not all countries of the convention have implement it.
